Urnex Cafiza Powder, 566 G.

Professional degreaser for your espresso machine. Used with a blind filter to degrease the brew group. Amount: 566 grams. Enough for at least a year. Can only be used on machines with a “backflush” function. Used to clean the group head. How to: Run water through the group and scrub the group head thoroughly with a cleaning brush. Add ½ tsp. of Cafiza cleaner to the portafilter and lock it back into the group head. Start the pump as if you were brewing and let the machine build pressure. Then turn the water off. Let the solution work in the group for a couple of minutes. Repeat this a few times (this backflushes your group and rinses out old residue). Remove the portafilter, rinse it clean, lock it back into the machine, and repeat the above using clean water. Finally, brush the group so no cleaner residue remains, and run about ½ liter of clean water through the group. Remember to discard the first couple of espressos after cleaning! Do NOT pour into the tank!
