A lovely classic espresso

The coffee here comes from one of the largest and most well-known coffee-producing areas Sul De Minas, which is located in the southern part of Minas Gerais. Here they are especially known for their altitudes, which give more complex coffees as well as their microclimates with milder temperatures, perfect for growing Arabica beans.

Lovely classic flavor notes like chocolate

A really good, sweet coffee

A lovely coffee from Brazil, which from the producer’s side is characterized by flavor notes of chocolate. In addition, we taste notes of hazelnut, caramel, orange, dried fruit and a lovely aftertaste of dry cocoa. We don’t experience the coffee as very creamy and rich in taste, which is why we lean more towards dry cocoa rather than chocolate. Furthermore, it is a coffee that is round and full-bodied with a good body.

Women in coffee

Coffee farm owned by Filomena Estefânia

The farm’s history goes all the way back to the 1800s, with Francisco Firmo de Mattos, one of the 19th century’s largest cattle and coffee producers in Contagem, Minas Gerais. Through the years, the family’s coffee production has developed and several farms have been added. Today, Fazenda Central Mattos/Santa Rita and Fazenda Colorado are run by Filomena Estefânia, Francisco’s youngest daughter, who produces coffee under the brand “Café Filomena Estefânia”.
