Roasted with a medium roast profile

A classic and traditional coffee experience

Our coffee from Sumatra, Indonesia, is among the most powerful in our range. With the medium-roasted profile, it gets a full-bodied aroma and a low acidity, which creates a well-balanced and traditional coffee experience, which we have carefully selected and roasted for this purpose.

A coffee with a deep and dark flavor profile

Flavor wheel - dark and deep

Grown at altitudes between 1200 and 1500 meters above sea level, a special processing method called wet hulled or Giling Basah is used in Sumatra. This technique gives the coffee a full body and distinct spicy notes. In the cup, you can taste notes of walnut and spices, which provide an intense and characterful coffee experience.

Volcanic islands – ideal for coffee cultivation

Some of the world's most sought-after coffees come from the islands of Indonesia

The coffee from here comes from western Sumatra and is known for sustainable production methods that promote rich biodiversity. Indonesia’s volcanic islands have soil that is filled with nutrient-rich volcanic ash, creating perfect conditions for coffee plantations. Therefore, several of the world’s most popular coffees come from the islands of Sumatra, Sulawesi and Java.
