Full-bodied, Intense
We’ve chosen this coffee because it’s both strong and full of aroma. It has some of the classic flavor notes like walnut and spice, and we roast it to a medium profile to emphasize a more classic, traditional coffee experience. If you want to roast it yourself, you can buy it as green coffee.

The coffee from Sumatra in Indonesia is undoubtedly one of our strongest coffees. With our medium roast profile, it’s a coffee that has a full-bodied aroma while being low in acidity. Definitely a coffee we’ve selected and roasted to create a more classic, traditional coffee experience.
A coffee in the darker part of the flavor wheel
This coffee is grown at 1200-1500 meters above sea level, and the processing method is wet hulled. In the production of coffee trees in Sumatra, this unique method, also called Gilling Basah, is used. It gives a strong body and spicy flavor notes. You’ll get the same experience in this cup. The flavor notes are walnut and spices.
Volcanic islands: breeding ground for good coffee
The coffee comes from the western part of Sumatra in Indonesia and is known for its production systems that ensure diverse biodiversity.
Many of Indonesia’s islands have been shaped by volcanoes, making the soil rich in volcanic ash, which is so good for coffee cultivation. It’s no wonder that some of the world’s most popular coffees come from the islands of Sumatra, Sulawesi, and Java.
