Funky green coffee

Our Selected specialty raw coffee is from the Tres Milagros farm in the Dota-Tarazzú region of Costa Rica and is among the finest when it comes to specialty coffee. It comes from the Facusse family, who have owned the Tres Milagros farm for 55 years. Since the beginning, the farm has been planted with Bourbon and Catuai, and they are known for producing truly exclusive coffee with the typical characteristics of the Dota-Tarrazu region.

It’s a juicy coffee with great sweetness and a delicate acidity. The aroma is vinous and the flavor notes remind us of tropical fruits and raisins. It’s a coffee where the many flavor nuances appear in multiple layers. First – a captivating vinous aroma combined with a French nougat sweetness fills us, and the complex taste has nuances that remind us of tropical fruits like the sweetest pineapple and melon. In harmony with the tropical fruits, you’ll find notes of raisins and prunes deeper in the layers.

In 2011, Mr. Camilo Merizalde and the Facusse family decided to create a very unique specialty coffee program with experience from Finca Santuario Colombia. New varieties such as Geisha, Heirloom, Tipica, F1, Villa Sarchi, and many more were planted on the Tres Milagros farm. Today, the farm works with several different processing methods to continuously produce outstanding specialty coffees, and we love it. Our coffee from Costa Rica stands out from our other coffees, especially due to the Red Honey processing method. The red honey-processed method contributes a fantastic sweetness and body along with a delicate acidity.
